Hi, and welcome to TutorGold! I’m AK Cabell, the Founder and CEO. I am passionate about helping middle and high school students build strong skills and confidence in English Language Arts and Literature. Whether your student is gifted, needs a little extra support to keep up, or is preparing for college entrance exams, I’m here to help. With 20 years of experience as a professional writer and over 10 years as a classroom teacher and writing tutor, I bring deep knowledge and practical strategies to every session. I hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in English, and I’m currently working toward a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation. My goal is to make reading and writing less overwhelming—and a lot more rewarding—for every learner I work with.
